Bike Update

I wish I had a bunch of pictures for you, but I guess a thousand words (each) will have to do…

The BMW – If you recall, I’m working on a 1974 BMW R90/6 for a friend. He had a laundry list of things to do, but I’m happy to say that it’s nearly done! A couple more tasks, and I’ll be ready to deliver it back to him. Here’s hoping he’s happy. (How’s that for alliteration?!)

The Triple – The same weekend my friend dropped the BMW off, I bought a 1977 Yamaha XS750. It was in sad shape… That one is still in progress. The easiest part (which happens to have the biggest impact in how it looks) was getting a replacement tank. I managed to find one on a forum, even though they’re pretty rare, and paid a very reasonable price.

This one is taking work on brakes, electrical, and fuel system, and the electrical is still giving me fits.

On the bright side, I think I already have my buyer, and it’s not even done!
